Service detailWhen a prestige engine misbehaves, the symptom is rarely the cause. Wispara dedicates the workshop time needed to find the root issue before quoting a single replacement part.
We run a documented diagnostic protocol on every car — long-term and short-term fuel trims, knock-sensor data, lambda voltages, cylinder-balance tests, and where appropriate a Pico-based oscilloscope check on the injector and ignition signals. Only after the live picture confirms the fault do we open the engine.
Usually a story about ignition coils, a sticky variable-valve solenoid or a vacuum leak in the manifold gasket. We can isolate which one within a working morning.
Often blamed on the rings — but on V6 and V8 prestige engines it is more frequently a worn PCV diaphragm, a leaking turbo seal or a tired valve-stem seal set.
Knock retard, MAF drift and fuel-trim asymmetry are the usual suspects. We log a 30-kilometre data run and compare against marque baselines.
Common on certain Audi and Volkswagen Group engines. Renewal includes guides, tensioner and oil pump chain, with photographic evidence at every step.

Two to three working days for valve-cover gaskets, timing chains, water-pump renewal and similar. Loan-car arranged on request.
Five to ten working days. Includes a refurbished sub-frame, fresh fasteners and complete hose set as part of the standard job sheet.
Every engine job ends with a 50-kilometre road test, a long fuel-trim verification run and a thermal scan of the engine bay before the car is released.
