What we typically see

Slow cool-down at idle

Often a tired condenser fan or a partially blocked condenser. We measure subcool and superheat across the system before recommending replacement.

Musty smell on first start

Biological growth on the evaporator. A two-step ozone and enzymatic treatment usually resolves it without removing the dashboard.

Compressor cycling rapidly

Refrigerant charge drift, an O-ring leak or a tired compressor control valve. Diagnosis takes about an hour.

Climate display freezing

Common on certain BMW and Mercedes-Benz platforms. Usually a software update on the central gateway, occasionally a CAN-bus issue we trace by oscilloscope.

Refrigerant note

Why we recover, weigh and document every gram

R-1234yf carries a much lower global warming potential than its predecessor, but it is also four times more expensive. We use a dual-refrigerant station that records the recovered weight, the renewed weight and the vented oil — every print-out is signed and attached to your job record.

Topping up "to feel" is a habit we do not have. If your system has lost charge, there is a leak — and we want to find it.
